Based on the OpenBuilds MiniMill, the Millennium Machines Milo is an open-source project for DIYers to create a reliable, low cost and powerful desktop CNC mill on their own terms. The mill is designed to have the ability to cut aluminium but is also capable of cutting a vast range of softer materials such as composites, woods and plastics.

Features & Extras

  • Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Mod - This mod adds two CNC machined aluminium plates which increases the rigidity of main column.
  • F.I.X.T.A.T.E.D - Our kit includes the a fixture plate from the FIXATED mod that covers the entire work surface. The version included is the Continental Breakfast.
  • Long John Toolsetter - Our kit includes a modified version of the Long John Toolsetter mod. The mod allows for easy tool height setting.
  • Brass Heatset Insert Tool - We've included custom machined brass tips for your soldering iron, use it to install heatset inserts with ease! Check here for more information.
  • Pre-cut & Pre-wired - Our kit includes all necessary wiring: cut to the right length and pre-crimped or soldered to their respective parts. See our detailed wiring guide here.
  • Small Tools - We include a set of tools for all the fasteners used in the build (Preparing your own set of good quality hex wrenches is still recommended). Also included are wrenches for the spindles.
