Full Replacement Filters Kit for Beam Air

The Beam Air is a fume extractor which uses advanced filter technology in order to maximize the efficiency and results of laser cutters while minimizing harmful pollutants and smells. The Beam Air uses 4 different filters to pull out dust, debris, pollutants, and smells.

Filters in the Beam Air Filter Kit

  1. Pre-Filter (10-30 hour lifespan): This is the first layer of defense! The pre-filter is positioned on the top of the Beam Air, so it is the first filter that will be preventing particles from passing through – coming from the laser cutter which is connected via a tube.
  2. Medium Efficiency Filter (50-150 hour lifespan): Just below the pre-filter, the medium efficiency filter provides a buffer and further filtering out particles which managed to get through the pre-filter.
  3. Activated Charcoal Filter (300-600 hour lifespan): The activated charcoal filter is used to mitigate or eliminate smells. Activated carbon filters have special properties that allows it to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors by trapping the molecules within.
  4. H13 HEPA Filter (100-200 hour lifespan): The H13 HEPA filter is the last filter. HEPA filters, or High Efficiency Particulate Air filters, are made up of dense mats of fibers to trap air pollutants. HEPA filters must meet rigorous standards, and the H13 HEPA filter is among the highest tier, being considered medical grade quality. H13 HEPA filters trap 99.95% of all particulate 0.1 microns or larger.
