Engineered to create beautiful prints that last, then gracefully fade back into the earth when you're done with it. Layer Line Filament's TerraForm PHA is one of the most eco-friendly 3D printing filaments on the planet. 

TerraForm PHA was meticulously developed to be the easiest PHA filament to print with, and features excellent overhang performance, great bed adhesion (with the right bed surfaces), and flawless performance in for your daily 3D printing needs. 

PHA is a unique material that is produced sustainably (it's made by bacteria), and is one of very few materials that will entirely break down into Water, CO2, and Biomass at the end of life, if exposed the right conditions, including marine conditions. However, it will perform like most other 3D printed plastics in normal use. 

NOTE: It will NOT break down any faster than other materials unless it is in a warm, damp, biologically-active environment.

TerraForm PHA is fully biodegradable and compostable without requiring an industrial facility to do it. It will fully break down and disappear even in home compost! In fact, even the colorant used in this material is biodegradable!

Printing Settings

• Nozzle Temp: 215C for 1st layer, 195C for Layers 2 and higher
• Bed: Off
• Bed Surface Options: Bambu Lab SuperTack Cool Plate, Magigoo FLEX, Garolite/G10/FR4, Painter's Tape
• Max Volumetric Speed 6 mm3/sec
• Cooling Fan: Off for 1st layer, 100% for Layers 2 and higher
• Speeds: 20mm/s to 200mm/s
